Disaster-Affected Area Support and Community Contribution

Companies and employees of the TOTO Group work together to provide support to disaster-affected areas when a large-scale disaster, such as heavy rain or an earthquake, happens. We are continuing fundraising activities through the TOTO Group Fundraising System while organizing and supporting events that help revitalize the afflicted areas by utilizing the funds raised. Furthermore, our employees have actively been participating in on-site volunteer activities for disaster-affected area support, such as debris-removal work and land restoration for agriculture.

Out of gratitude to local residents who have long been helpful to the company, the TOTO Group holds annual TOTO Summer Festivals at its plants throughout the country. Each plant produces its own special event, with stalls and so on operated mainly by employees, as a way to engage in closer communication with the people of local communities.
Plant Tours and factory remodeling fairs are held to give local residents a better idea of the production activities conducted at TOTO plants.
